Transnational Consumer Protection in E-Commerce

This article deals with the protection of consumers when they enter e-commerce transactions foreign companies. Most states reacted to growing importance by enacting data and consumer legislation requiring registration e-businesses. Companies have found a way circumvent offering agree choice courts laws which are included in their terms conditions. Consumers give away home state simply clicking accept general conditions on company’s website. The purpose this is examine if solutions experience from United States European Union could serve as model for transnational e-commerce. authors discuss different levels offered consider unification standards multilateral convention.
